Happy Winter Solstice!

I know we’re currently in the depths of winter and the first spring thermals seem but a distant dream, but we’ve now passed the low point and things are only going to get better! And just in case you need some more cheering up, here’s a short video of a wonderful flight I had with some good friends a month ago in North Devon. The day started cold and grey, but the wind was perfect, and after a couple of hours soaring high above the spectacular coast the front passed through and the sun came out and it just got better and better! To round the day off, once we’d all retrieved ourselves from all over North Devon, we had a fine pint and meal in a lovely country pub… Happy days indeed!

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year, but whilst you’re contemplating your resolutions, don’t forget to set yourself some challenging paragliding goals for 2015, be they leaving the hill for the first time, cracking 50km, or better still nailing your first 100kms. Whatever they are, fly safely, and above all have fun!

See you on a hill soon…

Tim
